2, Customer service –Outbound Call Center

General Purpose

Interact by phone with outside parties to solicit orders for goods or services, request donations, make appointments, collect information or conduct follow-up.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • deliver prepared sales scripts to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service or make a donation

Sr. Web Developer *

The Senior Web Developer will contribute to all aspects of design implementation and development

Responsibilities include:

Play a technical leadership role in prototyping, developing, and releasing new web projects.
Support client website and other existing corporate web properties through on-going development and production efforts.
Research, suggest and execute enhancements to improve website/application experience and performance.
Interface with cross-functional teams to bring immediate and near-term projects from inception through execution.
Ensure that the client websites/applications present credible and positive images of client and its products, by means of integrity and accuracy of presentation and functionality.

Required skill set and experience:

Expertise with high-performance, dynamic, and scalable content architectures.
5+ years of experience developing corporate/commercial internet applications.
Detailed understanding of cross-browser compatibility, and proven experience creating highly-compatible web deliverables.
Demonstrated experience with website development and management – including site topology, layout and page maintenance.
Demonstrated understanding and proficiency of popular web technologies.
Understanding of web accessibility and standards compliance.

XHTML: must be able to hand-code valid, semantic, and accessible markup for ease-of-maintenance and intelligibility.
CSS: must be able to create clean, table-less layouts using only CSS for presentation.
JavaScript/AJAX/DOM-scripting: must be able to manipulate CSS via the DOM and hand-code from scratch. Experience working with JavaScript libraries (jQuery) and frameworks (javascriptMVC) is a big plus.
Java/JSP and PHP development experience
Apache, XML, MySQL, etc.

Detailed-oriented nature with ability to track, organize and prioritize multiple, simultaneous projects and requests.
Experience working with and assisting more junior-level developers.

Desired skills:

Technical lead and/or project management experience a plus.
OpenCMS experience a plus.

Education:
BS/BA degree or equivalent industry experience is required, with a minimum of 5+ years of web development experience.
